Kathmandu : climber Nirmal purja Magar, who set a record by climbing all 14 mountains higher than 8000 meters in seven months is famous all over the world and regarded as celebrity.
His success has also been appreciated by the government of Nepal. Purja’s success and popularity has little to do with pain of Tanka ghising and family who badly suffered from Nirmal.
Nirmal rented ghising’s house situated at Budhanilkantha municipality ward no.11. Nirmal’s elite himalayan adventure pvt ltd.used the house to store oxygen cylinders and LPG gas. On 21 September , 2022 a terrible explosion happened killing 3 peoples, ashok Rai of Sankhuwasabha ,karsang Tenji Sherpa of Taplejung and chhewang Sherpa of Kathmandu and house completely damaged .
Tanka ghising put all his life-time’s earnings to buy land and build the house which is now nothing but a devastated site.Nirmal who consoled ghising at the time of incident saying not to worry and promised reasonable compensation Now turned is back and avoiding ghising completely .
Not only this he is creating problems upon problems to harass ghising in order to stop any further movements for compensation claims.
